Give us more of the Millenium Falcon

Dear Mister Lucas,

I was only 9 years old back in 1980 when I saw Star Wars in the theatre for the first time. An epic space adventure with a farm boy, a princess, a scoundrel and a real bad guy. Great characters which hit me in the heart straight away. Even the ‘mechanical’ droids stole my heart.

However, there was one character that really took my breath away. Well, not really a character. I am talking about the piece of junk where you had to be brave for to fly, which makes point five past light speed and made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. The Millennium Falcon. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

It is the most awesome spaceship of all times. It saved the day in both a New Hope and the Return of the Jedi.  I did love the elegant dance of the falcon between the asteroids during the chase by the Empire in the Empire Strikes Back

The Ewoks got their own movie. Why can’t the Millennium Falcon have one. The Adventures of the Millennium Falcon. How It made the Kessel Run, how Han Solo won it with gambling from Lando Calrissian and made a lot of special modifications. They did a lot of smuggling for Jabba the Hutt.

A nice side effect would be that this also gives the chance to chance to tell more about Boba Fett. Another great character. The people really loved the guy.

I remember the other night when I watched the deleted scenes on the long awaited Blu-Ray set and bumped into the recordings of the Return of The Jedi. My hart skipped a couple of times when the turret scenes came along.

Please Mister Lucas, give us more of that!

Kind regards
